Fellow

• Approved postgraduate academic qualification in tropical medicine or an approved Fellowship in a related professional College or Institute; AND
• Working, or have worked, a minimum of 2 years full-time or the equivalent part-time in tropical medicine; AND
• Made a significant contribution to tropical medicine.

Member

• Approved postgraduate academic qualification in tropical medicine or an approved Membership in a related professional College or Institute and working, or have worked, a minimum two years full-time or the equivalent part-time in tropical medicine; OR
• Approved first degree and working, or have worked, a minimum two years full-time or the equivalent part-time in tropical medicine.

Associate Member

• Approved postgraduate academic qualifications in tropical medicine or an approved fellowship or membership in a related professional College or Institute; OR
• Approved first degree or Approved Certificate, Associate Diploma, Diploma, or professional registration and working, or have worked, a minimum 1 year full-time or the equivalent part-time in tropical medicine.

Affiliate Member

• Persons interested in tropical medicine.

Student Member

• Full-time students undertaking a course of study in tropical medicine or a related field at a recognized University or Institute. The fee is equivalent to Affiliate Membership.

Retired Member

• Persons who have ceased full-time employment because of age or incapacity.

Life Member/Prorata Life Member

• Fellows, Members, Associate Members and Affiliate Members who have paid the prescribed life membership fee. This may be paid for by installments, i.e. Prorata Life Membership.

Corporate/Sustaining Member

• Open to companies and other organisations satisfying the requirements of by-laws established by the College Council. Further information on the excellent benefits of becoming a Corporate or Sustaining member may be obtained from the ACTM Secretariat. Regular Corporate or Sustaining Membership is presently A$500 per year. Higher levels of recognition are available to corporate and sustaining members.
